This is where we post about all of our past and ongoing projects

Squat the Planet

Our friend Matt Derick, founder of the anarchist travel forum Squat the Planet, has handed the keys to the site off to us and has entrusted us with operating and maintaining the online community. You can read our first post to learn about how we got started on this endeavor.

Our goals for StP include migrating the forum to a fully open-source stack, to provide feature updates and site improvements in line with the wishes of the site’s members, and to do what we can to bring more life and engagement to this fantastic online community. We are also discussing the possibility of expanding the StP community onto fediverse platforms such as Mastadon, Matrix, and/or Peertube. We are looking forward to seeing how things evolve!

Technical information, project milestones, and software repositories related to StP will be all made available on our Gitea page.

The Van-Go Project

We are building the ultimate mobile camper for living & hacking all on a shoestring budget! By levereging urban scavenging and mutual aid we are DIYing our new living/working space completely from scratch. This vehicle will be capable of operating fully off-grid while also featuring a full computer workstation, a built-in mini server for local media and navigation, a platform for radio/SDR experimentation, as well as a mobile set of tools and equipment for deplying open-source infrastructure on-the-go!

If you’re interested in this project, keep an eye out for our build logs, which we will be releasing here periodically. We will also be releasing deep-dives on various open-source projects and technologies that we will be using for this project, including self-hosted navigation software, open-hardware solar power systems, open-source CAD systems for project design, and much more.

Any technical information, repositories, and project details will soon be released on our Gitea.
